Sessions I Provide
This page is your dashboard for managing all the sessions you provide to other members. It helps you keep track of scheduled, ongoing, and completed sessions.
Filtering Your Sessions
You can use the filters to organize and find specific sessions:
- Service: View sessions for a particular service you offer, or for all of them. The service options are based on the selected state and period.
- State: Filter sessions by their status, such as "Scheduled," "Started," "Completed," or "Cancelled."
- Cancelled (provider unavailable): Appears when a session was auto-cancelled because the provider account lost membership access.
- Period: See sessions from the last 1, 3, or 6 months, or from specific years starting at the current year and going back to 2026.
Changing a filter immediately reloads the visible list using the selected filters. The Filter button runs the same filtered reload explicitly, while the Refresh button clears the page cache for the current view and reloads the latest server data.
Understanding the Session List
Each row in the list provides a summary of a session you are providing:
- Service: The title of the service for the session.
- Requestor: The name of the member receiving the service.
- Start / End: The scheduled date and time for the session.
- Duration: The length of the session in hours.
- State: The current status of the session (e.g., "Scheduled," "Completed").
Available Actions
For each session, you have several actions available depending on its status:
- Display: View the full details of the session.
- View Request: See the original service request that led to this session.
- Messages: Open the conversation thread with the requestor. The link is always visible, even after a session is cancelled or completed, so you can review the conversation history.
- Rate: After a session is "Completed," you can rate the requestor and provide feedback.
- Cancel: You can cancel a "Scheduled" session if necessary. Please be aware that cancelling a session within 24 hours of its start time will result in a 0.25-hour deduction from your balance, which will be transferred to the requestor.
You can only send new messages while the session is "Scheduled" or "Started". Once the session is closed, the thread remains visible for history but becomes read-only.
If the provider account later loses membership access, every scheduled or started provider-side session is closed automatically as Cancelled (provider unavailable). This automatic closure is different from a manual late cancellation and does not apply the normal 0.25-hour late-cancel transfer.
Absences
If you are reported absent by the requestor for a started session, 0.25 hours will be deducted from your balance and transferred to the requestor. An absence can be reported by the requestor between 10 and 15 minutes after a session's scheduled start time.
Emails related to provided sessions
- When a request becomes an accepted session, both provider and requestor receive session-created emails.
- If a scheduled session is cancelled, both sides receive cancellation emails.
- If membership access is cancelled and a scheduled or started session is automatically closed, the session appears as "Cancelled (provider unavailable)" and the requestor receives a cancellation email.
- If the requestor account is cancelled and that closes a scheduled or started session, the session appears as "Cancelled by Requestor", both sides receive cancellation emails, and no late-cancellation fee transfer is applied for this account-cancellation path.
- If the requestor reports your absence after the session starts, you receive an absence-reported email.
- When the session completes, both sides receive completion emails.
- If the requestor rates you after completion, you receive a rating email.
Time zone guidance
Dates and times shown on these member pages follow your saved profile time zone. Session emails that include a session date or time also use the recipient's saved profile time zone.
If you travel and want to use Solidarity in a new place, update your profile time zone first on Profile Edit so your schedules and read-only displays match that local time.
