Edit Event Page

This topic explains Edit Event.

Purpose

Edit an event before it is published. Only the provider can edit it, and published events remain locked except for notes, which are updated from My Events.

Requirements

• You must be the provider of the event.
• The event must still be in draft state.
• A valid event_id is required.

What you can change

• Event title, description, notes, category, subcategory, mode, venue/place, where details, schedule, duration, and maximum attendance.
• The start date and time must remain in the future.
• Poster image. You can upload a replacement or delete the current poster.
• In-person event where details can use address suggestions when Google Maps is configured.
• If only venue/place, where details, or schedule fields change, unchanged title, description, and notes text is not rechecked by AI.
• Moderation: Updated event titles, descriptions, and notes are checked by AI and cannot include gibberish, sexual content, child-targeted content, medical offers, financial transactions, hateful or discriminatory content, violence, terrorism, illegal activity, or abusive profanity.
