This topic explains Event Search.

Purpose

Find published events and book a place.

Mode, country, and date range are required.
City is optional. Select a city to narrow in-person results within the selected country.
Category and subcategory are optional, but you must provide either a category or text search.
Text search is optional when a category is selected and can match event title, description, notes, venue/place, and where details.
Search is powered by Azure AI Search and can lag behind publishing by up to 15 minutes.

Results show title, category, mode, country, city, venue/place or where details, schedule, attendance count, and a short description.
You can open details, book an available event, or unbook an event you already booked.
Booking is blocked if the event overlaps one of your pending service requests, scheduled or started service sessions, booked events, or events you provide.
You cannot book your own event, and you can only book a published event that has not started yet.
