Favourite Services & Users

This page-reference topic explains how favourites work for active members and how to manage them from the dedicated favourites page.

Purpose

Favourites help you keep quick access to people and services you may want to revisit later without searching again.

How favourites are added and removed

  • On Service Display, non-owners can use the heart action near the top of the page to add or remove that service from favourites.
  • On User Public, active members can use the same heart action to add or remove another active member from favourites.
  • When you add a user to favourites, that user receives an email notification with a link to your public profile.
  • The heart action is hidden on your own profile and on your own services.
  • An outlined heart means the item is not currently favourited. A filled heart means it is already in your favourites list.

Conditions to Display

  • Authentication is required.
  • The stage router allows this page only for Paid users.

From Where It Is Accessed

  • The left-hand side menu under Overview.
  • The heart action on service display and public user pages adds items here.

Filters and Actions

  • Type filter: Switches between favourite users and favourite services. The default filter is user.
  • User rows: Display, Remove.
  • Service rows: Display, Request This Service, Remove.
  • If a favourited record is no longer available, the row stays in the list until you remove it, but unavailable actions are disabled.

Changing the type filter immediately reloads the visible favourites list. The Filter button runs the same filtered reload explicitly, while the Refresh button clears the favourites cache for the current type and reloads the latest server data.
