Cancel Event Page

This topic explains Cancel Event.

Purpose

Cancel a published event that has not started yet and record the cancellation reason.

Requirements

• You must be the provider of the event.
• The event must be published and not started yet.
• The URL requires both event_id and provider_id.
• A cancellation reason is required.
• The cancellation reason is checked by AI before the event is cancelled.

After cancellation

• The event moves to cancelled state.
• Attendee records are marked as cancelled.
• Email notification handling is part of the Emailer function phase.
