Why donations help
Even while Solidarity is free for users, running the platform has real operating costs. Donations help cover services that keep the marketplace usable, searchable, reliable, and safe.
- AI features that help users draft services, search more naturally, and get guidance.
- Cloud hosting, storage, databases, and background processing for the web app and API.
- Search services and indexing that make member profiles and service offers easier to find.
- Email, notification, and workflow infrastructure for invitations, requests, and session updates.
- Security, monitoring, maintenance, and ongoing improvements as the community grows.
Future sustainability
We may introduce paid subscriptions later to support long-term sustainability, but users will be told before paid access is required.
No tax claim
Solidarity donations are not tax-deductible, and tax claims are not available for contributors.
